Priests to Accompany Pilgrimage:

Our Spiritual Director is Fr. Mike Schmitz from the Diocese of Duluth, MN. He has served on several pilgrimages and brings his enthusiasm for the Catholic faith through his inspirational homilies and his love for people. He leads a group of pilgrims to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre for meditation and prayertime each morning on the days that we are in Jerusalem.

Fr. Steven Hoffmann is from the Archdiocese of St. Paul/Minneapolis and currently serving as pastor St. Luke's Parish in Clear Water, Minnesota. Fr. Steven spent time in formation with the Congregation of St. John, working with the poor in Laredo, Texas in the Latino Community; he served in the Native American community in St. Paul, Minnesota; he has a wonderful gift of communication and humility that will be a blessing to all those who travel with him.

Fr. David Sizemore will be traveling with several members of his parish St. John Neumann in Sunbury, Ohio, and from the surrounding area of Coulmbus. His enthusiasm is absolutely contagious and you will find him a joy to be around. He serves at three other parishes in the Diocese of Columbus, so he is used to travel! Fr. Dave simply loves being a priest, has a passion for prayer, spiritual reading, pastoring and being around people who want help to grow closer to the Lord.  He exercises regularly for the endorphin high, enjoys cooking, and likes to spend his free time with his family, friends and parishioners.

Here is what some of our recent pilgrims have said about our pilgrimages!

Please accept our thanks for the most wonderful experience of our lives. The entire Pilgrimage was wonderful. It was so well organized and everything was run so smoothly. The accommodations were excellent, the food tasty and not weight gaining (love the salads), the bus driver (Badar) and bus were outstanding and our guide, Ronnie Winter, was exceptional. He is not only extremely knowledgeable but a very nice and engaging person. Jeff, your teaching and Bible knowledge were inspiring and given us a hunger to really study and learn the Bible. Rest assured, we will be enthusiastic ambassadors for this Pilgrimage with all our friends and family. We will follow your journey on your web site and ALWAYS keep you and your family in our prayers. ~~Pat and Tom D

Thank you so much for all you did to make our pilgrimage the most memorable travel experience we have ever had, and certainly the most spiritual and holy and fulfilling! We will never be the same! ~~  Bill & Sue M

Thank you for a most wonderful, spiritual experience these past 2 weeks. The pilgrimage surpassed any expectations I had. Your teachings, Jeff, were so meaningful at each site. You are able to pull together all the history, the spirituality, the geography of the area, the archeological aspects, etc. so well to make the whole story make sense. You have challenged us to grow spiritually not only with questions to ask ourselves, but ways to ponder those question in our lives, and the wonderful "weapons" we have to tackle them, grow from them, and make necessary changes in our lives so that we may be better disciples of the Lord and spread the Good News to others. Certainly my times in adoration, and daily prayer will be enriched because of this Holy Land experience. ~~ Barb K
