June 21 Monday ~ Via Dolorosa, Jewish Quarter, Temple Mount, Israel Museum ~ Today we went onto the Temple Mount and then entered the Old City by St Anne’s Church at the Pools of Bethesda. For the first in history Jeff used his iPad for his speaking notes as he taught about healing in our lives. God can use perceived weaknesses for his his glory. Perhaps the most meaningful day of the tour, we walked the Stations of the Cross along the traditional Via Dolorosa, Christ’s route to the Cross, meditating at each and ending with mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. We shared the crosses we carried along the route. Returning to the Jewish Quarter of the Old City, we next visited the southern steps of the Temple Mount and then walked through the refreshing spring water that flows through Hezekiah's Tunnel. In the evening we had our farewell dinner together as tomorrow we will be heading off in different directions after the touring day.
